Things are crazy busy here - now in the middle of co-mixing with Jim Rivers the previously mentioned full length 17 song BAD COMPANY concert DVD which will be mixed in both stereo and 5.1 surround. Just purchased some new mics (Audix) and added a 52 inch LCD for post work and general entertainment. Finished tracking basics for a bunch of full lengths for seattle artists including GIN BETTY, ATOMIC BRIDE and GYPSY JAZZ QUARTET. Soon to be arriving are MIDSTOKKE to start tracking a full length . Finishing up THE BILLY SHEW band EP and soon to be mixing and mastering THE DEFENDERS full length. I am booking into January right now. Things are great!

Yes, lucky enough to have this project come through the door. Jim Rivers (Whitsenake, Motley Crue, Queensryche, Paul Rogers), is doing their live mixing and landed the gig to mix the live DVD and audio CD- Jim has quite a history as a killer live and studio engineer- welcome Jim.
Tracking into another month, just compleated a full length release by World Pop artist “Palmer”, check out his music, great stuff. Also compleating final mixes for Billy Shew and doing some mastering for alt rock artists “Red Cigerette”, back to it….
It’s been a while- things have been crazy busy (it’s a good thing) I’m finishing up a six song EP from local artists Random Manor , good times with these guys, wish we were doing a full length- We will have songs up soon. Good friend Billy Shew is also coming along on his EP and I will be mixing it soon. Also just finished mixing two new Kay Kay songs for a 7 inch release and the new album. Tacoma artist Billy Shew is in tracking a new EP, 14 songs tracked and now we are carving it down to six for the EP.
Another progressive action filled week at The Tank started with a flash back to the 80’s with glam rock metal heads “Discs of Fury” in to mix a five song EP which should be complete this week, watch out Spinal Tap. Then shifting into a very successful two day, 12 song tracking session with seattle band “The Hollowpoints” with Producer/Engineer Nick Jarvelin at the controls- Thanks guys- was a pleasure having you in!
Well, I guess its officially spring- you would not know it by looking outside, but it will eventually be here- I have been mixing and mastering a variety of projects and have a few in to record this month and next- Doing a full length for Seattle band “Sea Navy” and another full length for Tacoma artist Billy Shoe.
